Supporting Neurodivergent Children at Christmas

Categories: Core, Practitioner, Self, Self, Self, Ultimate

About Course

Christmas can be a really exciting and fun time for children. However, for many – the overwhelm of sensory-overload, transition, social expectations, parties, gifts, change – is just too much.

In this talk – we will explore how to support neurodivergent children/teens during the Christmas period, at home and school.

To explore ideas of what a low-demand, ‘stress free’ Christmas would look like.

I attended a session on PDA at Christmas time and it was so very helpful. Tracy had some very useful reflections on why Christmas can be so tricky to navigate as well as done excellent advice which I was able to put into practice straight away. We had a much more enjoyable time because of what I learned in this session. I would highly recommend Tracy and Child Therapy Service! JO (Google Review)
